| FAQ | How is Reishi cultivated? Reishi is a saprophyte, a mushroom that feeds on dead organic matter and grows on trunks and roots of oak and beech trees. As it has been extremely rare and impossible to cultivate for many centuries, finding a "Ling Zhi" was considered a sign of good luck. In the 1970s, however, a method for the extensive cultivation of Reishi was developed around the world. The mushroom contained in the Reishi Plus Capsules is therefore derived from such crops. |
